– About –

I live in my heart-place outside of Whitefish Montana, with my husband, dog, horse and chickens; immersed in nature, which feeds my soul.

I have worked as a botanist in Glacier National Park for 20 years. This iconic landscape nourishes my passion for plants, animals and nature.  My love for and intimate knowledge of the natural world manifests itself in my design work.

My mission is to harmonize my biological background with graphic design, working to conserve and preserve the planet.

About the pygmy poppy:

One of my favorite habitats in which to work is the alpine, and one of my favorite alpine plants is the pygmy poppy – a brilliant tiny plant that only grows in an area slightly beyond the perimeter of Glacier National Park. Not only is it a species of concern, due to it’s limited distribution and habitat, but it is adorable, and when encountered, it feels magical.

I freehand drew and created this rendition in Adobe Illustrator.
